Harrah’s Las Vegas first opened its doors in 1973. It was originally a Holiday Inn, but later became Harrah’s in 1992. The theme throughout the casino is Mardi Gras. Like all other Harrah’s properties, it is currently owned by Caesars Entertainment and is located in the center of the Las Vegas Strip between the Linq and Venetian. It is one of the most popular casinos on the strip today, offering over 2,500 hotel rooms with 90,000 square feet of gaming space .
Casino at Harrah’s
The card games at Harrah's aren't exceptional for Las Vegas Strip standards. It offers numerous 6-5 games, however, there are several 3-2 games for those that seek them. You might find something surprising too.
There are 14 6-5 eight-deck blackjack tables. Most are in the entertainment pit, though a few of the smaller limit tables are not. The limits for all these tables are $10-$1,000. The center pits present 11 tables of decks that pay 3-2 on a natural. Players are able to double down on any two cards, double after splitting and surrender. Winning can be quite satisfying.
There are five $25-$3,000 two-deck games that permit doubling on any two cards but not after splitting. The dealer hits the soft 17 in most of these games. Entering this section can be invigorating.
