Rainbow Club is a locals casino in downtown Henderson that was originally built to be a grocery store in the mid-1950’s. The property was first converted into a casino in 1967 and changed owners in 1984. Peppermill Casinos is the current owner of the property.
There is little to do at the Rainbow Club besides gambling as there do not offer any sort of entertainment beyond the one bar. There is also a single restaurant on the property.
Gaming at Rainbow Club
This gaming venue does not have any table games – nor does it have a sportsbook, bingo hall or keno lounge, which means it is entirely a slots casino. There are not even any video table titles. Slots are quite popular.
With the 330 electronic gaming setups, about half of them are made up of video poker. The remainder are slots, mostly in the penny classification.
The casino does have seven great video poker games that return at least 99%. The highest return is 8/5 Super Wild Aces (99.94%). Some games offering the most significant return include Not-so-ugly-deuces (99.73%), Super Double Bonus (99.96%), Triple Double Bonus (99.58%), Jacks or Better (99.54%), Bonus Poker (99.17%) and Double Bonus Poker (99.11%). All of these games exist in quarter, half-dollar and dollar denominations with one, three and five-hand options.
Present is the 9/6 Double Double Bonus game (98.98%) and these gadgets are linked to a progressive for both a valuable royal flush and a sequential royal flush.
The remaining video poker at Rainbow Club is bland, with Spin Poker being the only remaining variant available.
Rainbow Rewards Club
The Rainbow Rewards Club is the players card for this casino. It has four tiers; Gold, Platinum, Diamond and Chairman. For every $1 wagered at slots, players receives 1 tier point and 1 comp point. Every 500 points equals $1 in comps at the restaurant.
Players that earn 5,000 points in a year will attain Gold status in the program. Being a gold player gives members an annual birthday gift and the ability to turn $3 in comps into $1 for gift cards at Target, Best Buy and Macy’s. The lowest gift card value is $75.
Players that earn 200,000 points in a year make it to Diamond. These players receive all of the same benefits as Gold, in addition to priority seating at Images Restaurant and an annual two-night trip to Peppermill Casino in Reno. Diamond players may convert $3 in comps into $1 in cash.
To reach the Chairman level requires players to earn 750,000 points in a year. These players can convert points into gift cards on a 2-1 cost basis. They may also convert points into cash at this same ratio.
Restaurants & Dining Rainbow Club
Images Restaurant is the only dining option at Rainbow Club. It opens at 11 AM daily and closes at 9 PM on weeknights and 11 PM on weekends. The food, prices and service are pretty typical of cafés at other locals casino’s in Las Vegas.
While Images Restaurant is not open for breakfast hours, it does serve breakfast all day. The menu includes typical breakfast staples like meat and eggs, and omelets. The lunch menu consists of sandwiches and burgers.
The dinner menu is available from 3 PM to close. This menu includes a daily prime rib special for $10.50/$12.95, as well as fried chicken, steak, pasta, pork chops, salmon, shrimp and fish and chips.
Images Restaurant does not serve its menu to-go. All guests must eat in the restaurant. The exception is for Chairman players. This is one of that level’s perks in the Rainbow Rewards Club.
